Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
By making a reservation through the official website of Hotel Casa Caletas (www.hotelcasacaletas.net), the customer expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions of Reservation, which govern the contractual relationship between the guest and the hotel.
We recommend that you read this document carefully before confirming your reservation.
2. Reservation Process
Reservations can be made directly through the website, WhatsApp, email, or through the hotel's authorized channels.
All reservations will be confirmed once the customer receives a confirmation email issued by Hotel Casa Caletas.
3. Payment Policies
The total price of the reservation must be paid in advance within 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Payments can be made by credit card on the website and other authorized channels, or by bank transfer to the accounts indicated by the hotel via WhatsApp.
Failure to make payment within the established period may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation without the right to a refund.
4. Cancellation Policies
Low Season
The customer may cancel the reservation free of charge up to 30 days prior to the arrival date.
If cancellation is made within 30 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total booking value will be charged.
High Season
The customer may cancel the reservation free of charge up to 40 days prior to the arrival date.
If cancellation is made within 40 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total booking value will be charged.
(Note: High and low seasons will be defined by the hotel according to the annual calendar, holidays, and periods of high demand.)
5. No-Show Policy
If the customer does not arrive at the hotel on the scheduled arrival date and has not canceled within the permitted period, the total value of the reservation will be charged, with no right to a refund or change of dates.
6. Reservation Modifications
Requests to change the date, room type, or number of guests are subject to availability and may result in a change in rate.
The hotel reserves the right to apply additional charges in the event of changes made outside the established deadlines.
7. Guest Responsibility
The guest agrees to:
Make appropriate use of the hotel facilities.
Respect internal rules regarding coexistence, safety, and sustainability.
Be liable for any damage or loss caused during your stay.
8. Force Majeure Policy
Hotel Casa Caletas is not responsible for cancellations or modifications caused by force majeure, including natural phenomena, health emergencies, roadblocks, or government regulations. In these cases, the hotel may offer to reschedule the stay at no additional cost, subject to availability.
9. Personal Data Protection
The hotel guarantees the confidentiality of the information provided by the customer. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Law No. 8968 – Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data, for purposes exclusively related to the management of reservations and communication with the customer.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute arising from their interpretation or enforcement shall be submitted to the competent courts of the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
